Getting Here

Pousada is very conveniently located for travelers coming in by air at Salvador’s Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA). In fact, it is just about 7 kilometers away, thus making for a rather short and easy transfer with no stress at all that takes between 10 to 15 minutes by car. The simplest way and highly recommended is just taking an official airport taxi or maybe using the ride-hailing app Uber since both are readily available at the airport.

Whoever is coming by long-distance bus should note that the main bus terminal sits way at a location near the city's main shopping malls. From there, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Stella Maris where the pousada is located. This ride will be much longer and more expensive than from the airport.

Driving in, you'll find the pousada easy to get to since it's right off the main coastal road between the airport and town. Free secure on-site parking is a big plus here for anyone with a rental car — most people want to check out all those pretty beaches up along the Litoral Norte that they need a car for, or if they're heading into town.
